In-Person Volunteer Program Temporarily Suspended
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the library. At this time we are not offering any in-person volunteer opportunities. You can fill out a volunteer form using the links below and we will keep your application on file for one year and contact you should any positions arise.
Virtual Options for Teens
Teens are encouraged to sign up to volunteer and take part in our new book reviews option. Additional information will be added at a later date.
Volunteers help attain the mission of lifelong learning by teaching computer classes, delivering library materials to homebound individuals, mending materials and many other essential jobs. We accept volunteers ages 14 and up. To learn more about volunteer openings for adults at the Library, please email the library at email@example.com or call 253-841-5454.
If you wish to apply and you are 18 years or older, please fill out a volunteer application form available at the main desk of the library or download an application and mail it to the Library. For teens ages 14 - 17, please download and complete the Teen Volunteer Application and return it to the Library.
Adults over the age of 17 will be required to complete a Washington State Patrol background check which will require a signature and a copy of your current identification. Once we have received your application, we will contact you as soon as it has been processed.
Please be aware that the Library cannot fulfill court-ordered community service hours.
Teens can volunteer to help on a regular basis at the library, as space allows. These volunteers will learn some basic procedures and tasks associated with the library's day-to-day operations. We accept volunteers from ages 14 and up.
For teens ages 14 - 17, please download and complete the Teen Volunteer Application (PDF) and return it to the Library. If you wish to apply and you are 18 years or older, please fill out an Adult Volunteer Application. Adults will be asked to complete a Washington State Patrol background check, which will require a signature and a copy of your current identification. Both forms are also available at the main desk on the first floor.
